-Reader's Notebook #12 Question of your choice/ No less than 10 sentences minimum response
-Read over Literary Analysis Assignment Sheet (see pdf below)
-Look carefully through the rubric (see pdf below)
-Writer's Notebook #9 "Prompts": Write out all of the possibilities that you could write for each of the 3 prompts and then circle the one that you feel you have you have the most to say and the best textual support for. This will be the prompt that you plan to go forth with for your essay
*HW: Finish all work above/ Read
Tuesday 11/5:
*I can properly format my thesis for the literary analysis

-Book Talk "Green Mile"
-Silent Read 10 Minutes
-Thesis statement "notes"
-->Write one for your essay
-->Make sure that you get it approved!
-Brainstorm relevant parts from the novel that support your thesis (your notes sheets are a GREAT place to start)
*HW: Have thesis ready to go with ideas for quotes/support by the beginning of class tomorrow/ Read

*I can choose relevant quotes to support a thesis

-Quotes Notes (read through pdf below)
